Essential facts

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with more than 42,000 men newly diagnosed every year in the UK, according to Prostate Cancer UK. Around 300,000 are living with or after the disease. By 2030, it is expected to become the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, the charity says.
