People from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds who also have learning disabilities face higher levels of healthcare inequalities
People with a learning disability were six times more likely to die than those without a disability during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, people from black, Asian and other minority ethnic communities died of COVID-19 in disproportionately higher numbers than the white population.
