Health visitors’ assessment of risk

Health visiting services aim to target support to those in most need. Identifying those most vulnerable is dependent on health visitors’ (HV) assessment and judgement. This qualitative study explored HV accounts of this process through a theoretical framework of ‘emotion in use’ alongside ‘knowledge in use’.
