Eczema is a multi-factorial disease which needs a combination of therapies to improve the quality of life for those suffering its symptoms. This article shows how to recognise the different types of eczema, details possible triggers and gives treatment options
The aim of this article is to give an overview of eczema and discuss the different types, the known triggers, and the management and lifestyle issues for patients with eczema. This article will not be detailed enough to cover all age groups and address their special needs, only atopic eczema will be covered in detail, outlining principles of care.
