This large-scale study of 400 parents addressed the question of whether parents wish to be present when invasive procedures are performed on their children in the Accident & Emergency department. Several studies in the past have shown that the majority of parents prefer to stay with their children during procedures in A&E, however, this study also looked at parental presence during procedures of graded invasiveness.
