Every nurse has a professional duty to disseminate good practice and research findings through writing for publication, and by presenting papers and posters at conferences. Recent articles in this journal gave advice on how to set about these activities (
give a succinct, but complete, overview of the whole presentation;
reflect at least one theme of the conference;
be written in an academic, but jargon-free, style.
