Continuing their report of a project to develop the first programme for teachers of children’s nursing in Russia, Leslie Robertson, June Hutt and colleagues explore their experience of facilitating the implementation of the curriculum in Moscow

The second part of this three-part article outlines the implementation of the first courses set up for teachers of children’s nursing in Russia. The different professional starting points and anticipated outcomes, in terms of role boundary changes, influenced the teaching and learning processes. A major impact was the role of the interpreter and some useful lessons are presented on teaching through a third person from a different culture and profession.
