SO FINALLY nurses know what they are! This week the RCN publishes a document that aims to explain what nursing is all about, its core values and the professional qualities that all nurses share. After a four-month consultation exercise that attracted the highest number of responses in the history of the RCN – more than 160,000 – the document is finally ready for use.
