Patient expectations and satisfaction with health care

This study explored levels of satisfaction by comparing cardiac patients’ initial expectations of care with their perceptions following treatment. Overall, the results indicate that patients were generally satisfied with nursing care. Patients’ comments, however, revealed a number of concerns which may apply to nursing.
