Helping to explain organ donation

It can be difficult to discuss organ donation with loved ones, especially children – I created a book to help families raise the issue

Sitting down with the close family members of a patient, my thoughts turned to how they must be feeling since finding out that their loved one was going to die. They had known for a day or so by this point, and I wondered if they could believe what was happening. I also wondered if they had thought about organ donation.
