Critics say the ten-year strategy cannot succeed unless the NHS staffing crisis is resolved

Major concerns have been raised over how the vision for nursing contained in the NHS Long Term Plan will be delivered. The plan, published in January, sets out the government’s ten-year blueprint for the NHS in England, with a focus on prevention, digital access to services and alleviating workforce pressures.
