About Mental Health Practice

Mental Health Practice provides a wide range of information that will enable readers, including students, to develop creative and evidence-based approaches to practice.

The journal is available in print or digital page-turner format and includes unlimited access to  It publishes original research, updates in policy or in practice guidelines in the field of mental healthcare, descriptions of practice, literature reviews, case studies, shorter opinion articles and commissioned book reviews.

It also publishes continuing professional developments article to inform, support and educate nurses working in this field of practice, and to help contributors and their readers prepare for revalidation.

Mental Health Practice is published by RCNi, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal College of Nursing.
