A newly registered nurse explains the varied experience and career development that prison nursing offers
My first post as a newly registered nurse is working in a category C prison in Yorkshire, which holds more than 900 adult male prisoners. I had my final elective placement at the prison, and graduated from Leeds Beckett University just a month before I began working there in October 2023.
