There is nothing privileged or sacred about nursing
Thank you, Lisa Brackenridge, for voicing what so many nurses are thinking but are scared to admit (letters June 18) – that it is insulting to talk about caring for patients as if it is a sacred privilege that does not need to be rewarded with hard cash.
