Sir Michael gives a welcome boost to dignity campaign
I am passionate about safeguarding patient dignity and therefore welcome the celebrity boost to the government’s Dignity in Care campaign (news May 28). I hope the appointment of chat show host Sir Michael Parkinson as national dignity ambassador will highlight the urgent need for change in this area of nursing that is so difficult to manage.
