Unqualified nursery staff wear the same uniform

Recent letters on adopting standard uniforms (January 2 and 9) struck a chord. I agree that instantly recognisable uniforms would bring more credibility to the profession. If we find uniforms confusing, how much more difficult must it be for patients and their relatives?
