Two nurses working in the United States offer ten tips for coping with short staffing on the wards (clinical digest December 5). They say nurses should try to maintain a positive attitude at all times and point out that a negative outlook can damage the morale of the entire team. Bless. I wonder how long they would last in an NHS hospital.
