Men suffer domestic violence too

Andrew Barron , Wolverhampton

You report that there should be more efforts made to spot domestic violence (news March 31). On reading the story I found it to be biased toward female victims. I noted that it said there were 51,522 incidents of domestic violence between April 2002 and March 2003. It did not state what type of domestic violence it was - verbal, physical, financial or emotional. Neither did it describe who the perpetrator was - man or woman, living together or separated.
