It’s time to consider simplifying standards

Nikki Morris @nikki_a_morris Chair, RCN cancer and breast care forum, Age UK Camden

Streamlining standards for nursing could make them more user-friendly and effective, says Nikki Morris

The RCN cancer and breast care forum often receives requests to endorse standards. Taking them through a relevance and subsequent quality assurance process is time-consuming but vital to maintain the credibility of the profession and the college. Of course, we will always embrace initiatives that enhance the care we give our patients and the support we give our colleagues.
