When social restrictions ease, support for people with the disease will be as vital as ever, says Nikki Morris

During the COVID-19 pandemic some people with cancer welcomed opportunities to access support online, especially if they felt too unwell to access it in person. Nevertheless, meeting online is often less effective in relationship building than meeting face to face, particularly for newly diagnosed patients.
