What can I do to be ready for placement?
This is a question I am asked a lot, particularly by students in their first year preparing to face different placement areas. I can still distinctly remember my first placements and how conscious I was of trying to make a good impression– I was being assessed after all. I would carry a notebook around with me and make notes on anything and everything I thought was useful, particularly questions I wasn’t sure of the answer to.
