After obtaining a BSc in Psychology, Lesley trained as a nurse and held various posts in acute and longterm care settings. An interest in quality of care led to an MA in social anthropology and subsequent work in medical audit and quality assurance. Lesley is Development Officer for the RCN Standards of Care Project with particular interests in QUAN and standard setting by specialist groups.
