Nutrition in infancy and childhood is of paramount importance if children are to become healthy adults. However, given the rise in malnutrition and obesity in infants and children, it seems that children’s nutritional and physical needs are not being met. This article will assist healthcare professionals in the education of parents on the importance of diet through pregnancy to infancy and childhood.
