The title recognises a commitment to high standards of person-centred care in community nursing
The prestigious Queen’s Nurse title is bestowed by community nursing charity the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI). The oldest professional nursing organisation in the UK, the QNI is dedicated to improving the nursing care of people in their homes and in the community. Known as the Jubilee Institute until 1973, it used to coordinate national standards for district nurse training.
