Vision and driving legislation: what nurses need to know

This article discusses the visual acuity required by drivers in the UK to comply with the law, and sets out how these requirements will change over the next four years as driving licence regulations are harmonised across Europe. The article considers the advice nurses need to give patients who have temporary or permanent vision problems.
