Unregistered but qualified

Just because someone isn’t a registered nurse does not mean they are ‘unqualified’. (If your job title says ‘nurse’, you should be a nurse, news online 20 September.) I have known many, many HCAs/support workers with advanced qualifications so can we be more mindful and stick with ‘unregistered’?
