A clinical placement with an intensive health outreach team highlighted the importance of timely interventions for people with learning disabilities

During my second year of training I was on a placement with the learning disability (LD) intensive health outreach team when I responded to an emergency call to a care home for people with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
