Anyone can describe themself as a nurse in the UK, and even offer professional advice and services with no nursing qualifications

When is a ‘nurse’ not a nurse? Many of us are becoming increasingly concerned at the growing trend of the use of the term nurse to describe a wide range of different workers. These workers have a range of backgrounds and qualifications, but they are still referred to as nurses.
