Benefits of mobile working for community nurse prescribers

This article examines the professional considerations that motivate the adoption of mobile working by nurse prescribers in England. The article presents some of the findings of an ongoing Transforming Community Services Programme pilot study of mobile working in the community by the Department of Health. The benefits and challenges associated with mobile technology are discussed in addition to the importance of clinical leadership and engagement.
