Excellence in end of life care

Gerard Wainwright Manager, Heatherstones Nursing Home

Gerard Wainwright recounts how his team supported an older resident during the final stages of her life and won a palliative care award

They were able to ensure that there was a comfortable environment for the resident and her family to be together during the last weeks of her life.
