AT EIGHTEEN months, my son was diagnosed as having dyspraxia. As a medical student and a GP I had had little or no training about the subject and went away to look up what it was and the implications for Andrew. Ten years ago there was very little written about dyspraxia, but I was lucky enough to have an occupational therapist able to answer some of my questions.
