NURSE PRESCRIBING is the logical outcome of the development of the nursing profession. With the many 'new ways of working' proposed in the government's nursing strategy, Making a Difference, it is easy to forget that we are still talking about nursing assessment and care management, rather than medical diagnosis and treatment.
