Queen’s nurses

Hundreds gathered to celebrate community nurses at the annual Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) awards in London. Three nurses were made QNI fellows, while other awards included the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother award for outstanding service. Certificates and badges were presented to 119 new Queen’s Nurses by Wales chief nurse Jean White. Pictured are the new QNI fellows Dame Elizabeth Anionwu (left), Care Quality Commission nurse lead Ursula Gallagher (second left) and Public Health England’s deputy chief nurse Joanne Bosanquet (right) with Professor White.
