Pavan Amara Nurse, midwife and health journalist

NHS trusts in England received £5.6 million in income from staff car parking charges in 2021-22 and some organisations are raising prices. In November, for example, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust posted on X, formerly Twitter, that its charges would increase by 9.5%, which will affect nurses without permits.
