Clinical manager Lindsay Rees’s initiative has reduced falls among care home residents without curbing their activities by embracing positive risk

An individual falls risk factor assessment and care plan introduced by Lindsay Rees (pictured) reduced the number of falls in a pilot project and helped her win the Nursing Older People category of the RCNi Nurse Awards 2019.
