Health and social care workers need to commit to being champions of these values at work

It is important to promote equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in health and social care settings and there are laws and guidance that provide the framework for this duty of care. There are also specific responsibilities that staff in different roles and levels of seniority need to demonstrate in promoting EDI.
