My concerns about the books are few, but may be significant. They are described as robust enough to take some rough handling. However, I managed easily to crumple and tear a page. Also the contrast between the white background and the colour of the text is not always as strong as it could be for people with visual or reading impairments. The books may invoke unpleasant memories so staff/ carers would need to be prepared for this possibility. I certainly closed the garden book feeling more relaxed than when I opened it.
