NHS England has released data showing waiting times from point of arrival rather than from the decision to admit

A clearer picture of the pressures facing England’s emergency departments (EDs) is now available following the release of new data. The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) has long campaigned for 12-hour waits to be measured from the point when a patient arrives rather than when a decision is made to admit them.
