Dolycwrt – The Days of a Country Doctor’s Surgery

Dolycrwt is a house in Whitland, south Wales, which was a doctor’s surgery for 100 years. The author, Roger Penn, is the son of one of the last doctors to practice there. It is clear that Penn loves Dolycwrt, the town, the people and their history. He lives there still, which may account for his uncritical view.
