Students sink deeper in debt

EXCLUSIVE The UK’s nursing students are facing mounting money worries despite holding down part-time jobs, as Adele Waters reports

Nurses in the UK are racking up a collective debt of £222 million before they qualify, new figures suggest. An RCN survey of more than 600 students across the UK found an average debt among first years of £2,787. By their final year they owed an average of £4,425.
