Question marks were raised last week over the future of tax free earnings for British nurses in Saudi Arabia. The controversial move put forward by the Saudi Government was quickly rescinded but with no guarantee that they will not be introduced at a later date. Saudia Arabia has long been an attraction for United Kingdom nurses with a zest for travel and money. Recruitment in the past has rarely been a problem for the [illegible word]itish and American hospitals there who have enjoyed the added bonus of being able to offer tax free salaries for some 12 years now.
