Although my travelling companion, Sue Gol- lop, lecturer on the nurse practitioner course at North East Surrey College of Technology, and I left home at around 5.30am to make the 9.30am deadline for the start of the conference in Swansea we need not have rushed. We had time to view the display promoting the new nurse practitioner course which was to commence in Swansea in September 1994.
