There has been a noticeable increase in books and articles on the care of dying patients and their family in recent years, but Living while Dying is unique. It is written by a general practitioner, Freda Naylor, and a clinical psychologist, R Glynn Owens, which is a good multidisciplinary mix — but Dr Naylor was also a patient.
