Looking at legislation

I wonder how many nurses will endorse the new statutory legislation which clearly differentiates between traditionally trained nurses on parts 1,3,5 or 8 of the register and those who will qualify under the Project 2000 schemes of preparation. The new parts, 12 (Adult), 13 (Mental Health), 14 (Mental Handicap) and 15 (Child) nursing will, I fear, create unnecessary division within the profession.
