Nurse Jackie may be popular, but she is no advertisement for nursing

People seem to like this new TV series Nurse Jackie, but I despair over it (editorial, news and letters January 13). The fact that the New York State Nurses Association complained about the series when it was first aired in the United States perversely seems to have boosted its ratings here.
