Common sense should guide nurses on networking sites

RCN guidance on the use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter is to be welcomed (news March 4). But it is really just a matter of using common sense to avoid breaching patient confidentiality or complaining about colleagues and managers in a way that would identify them or their place of work.
