I spent much of last week talking to children’s nurses, which was rather like being licked by friendly puppies. I mean that in the nicest possible way because what I like about puppies is their boundless energy, their love of life and the way their feet are slightly too big for their bodies, which is where the similarity with children’s nurses ends, obviously.
