Resources may be stretched, but surely something can be done to help patients

I have a good knee, which is my way of trying to ignore the fact that I also have a bad knee. But my bad knee has begun to impinge on the things I enjoy doing – climbing trees, pole dancing and sitting for long periods. So my knees and I eventually pitched up in the orthopaedic department of my local hospital.
