I heard it again the other day – that phrase which repetition has robbed of meaning, a bit like ‘We apologise for the delay’ or ‘Your call is important to us’. An opposition MP was banging on about the NHS: ‘Morale in the NHS is at rock bottom’ made an early appearance.
