Chronic kidney disease

Sarah Knowles Nursing student, University of york, Yorkshire

Sarah Knowles has a better understanding of chronic kidney disease after reading a learning zone article

Before reading this article I had no knowledge of chronic kidney disease, despite the fact that it is a condition that can lead to permanent loss of kidney function and, if left untreated, renal failure. However, I now have a clearer understanding about the disease and the need for it to be treated as quickly as possible to delay disease progression.
